New to the Upper East Side is this farmhouse-style French brasserie. Operated by two celebrated chefs, Vaucluse seats its guests in the lush upper rooms and dining rooms. It also has a bar where you can sit with a curated cocktail, such as the house Julep. For lunch, you can practice your French over a White Label Burger with tomato jam and a side of frites. The confit chicken soup is another good choice. For dinner, consider the homemade artisan pastas or the entrecôte with hollandaise. And there’s no shortage of dessert, all made in the French tradition. The pomegranate apple sorbet and the chocolate mousse are particularly good.
