The Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park allows you to skate in the center of the city. Afterward, you can get hot cocoa and snacks in the Rothman Cabin, a heated tent near the rink. The rink is lit up by all of the tall buildings in downtown. In addition, you can explore sled skating, a sled you can ride in on skates. Ice skating is a quick and fun way to get out of Philadelphia apartments near downtown. Boathouse Row is a line of 19th-century boat houses along the Schuylkill River that are all lit up.
